Wed, 20 May 2009 06:22:48 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=5.2.3 By: yuetsu https://pdxyogini.com/2009/05/19/angry-tai-chi-man/#comment-173 Wed, 20 May 2009 06:22:48 +0000 http://pdxyogini.com/2009/05/19/angry-tai-chi-man/#comment-173 1) i'm coming next tuesday.2) it's always good to keep the focus on yourself and take your own responsible part in these things. however, it's time some other parties here stepped up and did a little open communication and negotiation and owned their rather unskillful part in this also. a yoga class scheduled right after tai chi without a 15 minute break for transition? that's ridiculous scheduling. a tai chi teacher that lets their student go off on you like that? the tai chi student screaming alone shows he has no respect for the energy in his own form of practice — probably a lot of something else going on there. you're not disrespecting anything, they're disrespecting you. they're also disrespecting _all_ these forms — yoga, tai chi & a community center with comfortable scheduling for all who want to use it. most of all, who ever is screwing up this scheduling, not taking responsibility and not communicating properly with all teachers involved is the biggest disrespecting person of all.3) sure, offer metta for them all. but metta practice doesn't mean be a doormat.
